Greenville Hospital closed April 23.

To assist during this transition, LibertyHealth System, which operates Greenville Hospital, is actively communicating with the public about their health care options and other relevant information. This includes general advertising of where other health facilities are, information on mammography records and films, and a brochure mailed to every resident of Greenville.

The brochure contains information on transportation services throughout Hudson County. It also provides locations and information about the area’s federally qualified health centers.

Our mission is to provide quality health care to the people of our community. Even though we are closing a facility, our commitment to the people of the Greenville section of Jersey City has never wavered.

The proposed state budget cuts in financial aid for hospitals threaten to further reduce the availability of health care services in our community. LibertyHealth will work with local elected officials and community leaders to ensure adequate funding is available for our health care services.
